Paper Scrapping

I have done three paper LOs I wish I was better at paper scrapping it isn't like I'm short on supplies here I'm actually flooded with them. I thought about taking a class here but never find myself motivated to actually do it. Maybe one day. But for the mean time I struggle with just ideas of how to create a LO. Sounds strange because I do it digitally, but it is different, at least in my mind. Where do I put what? How do I start? How do I do all the things I do digitally in paper? And where is the undo button? :) Ok so I can't have it all I suppose but I just feel overwhelmed with paper.

I think one thing I should do is start with simple LOs which I've done below. Although I may not wow anyone with them, everyone has to start somewhere. I should also use sketches like Pencil Lines and just go for it using their CT LOs as a guideline until I figure it out for my own.

Another thing I don't like is my handwriting. I swear some of my kids can write better than me on a good day. I just don't write anymore, I find it annoying so I don't enjoy it and my hand cramps after a few lines. Not to mention it just isn't pretty. I would have to work on that too, or buy an old typewriter and find creative ways to add journaling on pages with my computer vs my actual hand.

Autumn

A much younger picture of my mother, one which I recall when I think of autumn.
It has been over two years since she died and I still miss her like she just left this world yesterday.

New Release

I've worked with three new release kits this week for different designers. I have a few more to do this week, I'm falling a bit behind but I'll catch up soon enough.

First up Faith True with Java Mama

I'm far from a coffee drinker, in fact the smell just bothers me. But the purples in this kit I just loved and thought it went well with this picture of Hannah and Mariam from a few years ago.

Next up Tracie Stroud with Bubblegum Beauty

I have girls how can I not just love this kit?

Lindsay Jane with Shades of Fall

I just adore the colors of this fall kit I must say it is my most favorite fall kit to date

Creations by Rachael B with Squid Ink

Summer may be over in some parts of the world but that doesn't mean we all don't have water inspired pictures to scrap
